Magic Messages for New Readers
I recall making pictures on white paper with white crayons and then painting over them as a child. I thought it would be a fun activity for S as she is learning her last name. I wrote her name several times on a piece of paper, and let her read it as it appeared.
She was very into it! Can't wait to do this again with more reading practice.
I had another one with all of the kids' names on it.
Here's one for D, teaching him shapes.
In preperation for Valentine's Day ...
