Flower Bands
I found this idea online and cannot remember where. We already had this stuff on hand - a bunch of paper flowers and pipe cleaners. I simply wrapped the flowers around the pipe cleaners, and made little loops at the end for them to thread the flowers into. Then we wore our flowers on our heads:)
S is creating her flower band.
Putting the flowers through the loops, and then twisting the pipe cleaners. Very good for fine motor!
This was a little more challenging for I-Bell. Here are some great pictures of her fully concentrated and determined to create this all on her own:
She had her own groups the way she wanted to thread them. And when it came to putting it on our heads, I helped a little bit.
We made one for D too!
