Bathtime
• Bath color tablets
• Glow sticks from dollar store
• Submergable lights from Michael's (in floral section)
•Freeze toys in ice trays/small containers
•Water and food coloring in ice tray for colored bath
• Warm bath with cold water balloons
• Foam paper pieces stick to wall when wet
– (i.e. Christmas Tree cut out with ornaments - did this for Christmas time)
– Letter/Number cut outs
• Bubble bath with bubble machine
•Squirt bottle - let child squirt objects in tub. Gently squirt child (D giggles so hard when we do this). I say, "I'm squirting your arm. Now I'm squirting your belly! That tickles." Helps to learn body parts in a fun way.
• Squirt bottle with food coloring and a bubble bath - color the bubbles!
• Bath paints
D is quite young here. Simple bath tablets weren't very interesting to him then; however, now (at 19 months) that he is recognizing colors, these tablets are fascinating!
Glow sticks
A bubble bath with the bubble machine! So much fun!
Caught one!
